We set out with a big goal: to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Thanks to the monumental efforts of our students, parents, and supporters, we achieved something truly special.
Running for a Cause
The main event of the day saw our amazing students taking on a grueling sponsored run. The challenge? Running as many laps as possible around the lovely gardens of the hall.
The kids put their absolute all into it, showing the true indomitable spirit of martial artists! Every single lap ran brought us closer to our goal, and at the end of it, they were rewarded with beautiful, custom-engraved medals to celebrate their massive achievement. A huge shoutout to the amazing laser engraver who kindly helped prepare these medals for the kids—they looked fantastic! We also handed out official Rainham TSD certificates to commemorate the laps run.
Circus Skills, Cake, and Community
When the kids weren’t running laps, there was a whole festival of activities to keep everyone entertained!

Our Very Special Furry Guests
The kids (and let’s be honest, all the adults too) absolutely loved getting to meet them and give them a well-deserved stroke. To add to the canine fun, Shi Chea Kelly Wise also brought along her adorable dog, Holly, who thoroughly enjoyed the fuss.
The Grand Total…
Thanks to the phenomenal effort, generosity, and community spirit of everyone involved, we raised over £1,800!
Because of this incredible total, our club has earned the absolute honor of naming a guide dog puppy. This is a legacy that will go on to change someone’s life completely. Thank you to every single person who ran, cheered, baked, engraved, or donated. You are all superstars!
