Discover the art of Tang Sou Dao at the Brenda Blakemore Community Centre. Our friendly classes are for all ages and abilities, helping you build physical fitness, mental discipline, and self-confidence in a welcoming environment.
What is Tang Sou Dao?
With roots in traditional Korean Tang Soo Do, our art of Tang Sou Dao is a unique blend that also incorporates techniques from traditional Chinese and Shaolin martial arts. The style is renowned for its powerful kicking techniques, striking, and practical self-defence. Our classes focus on building a strong foundation in forms (patterns of movement) and controlled sparring, making it a complete system for both physical and mental development. We are proud to be a part of the official Tang Sou Dao federation.
Benefits for All Ages
Training in Tang Sou Dao offers a wide range of benefits that go far beyond self-defence. Our students quickly see improvements in their physical fitness, flexibility, and strength. The discipline required to master the art also fosters increased focus, perseverance, and respect. It’s an excellent activity for children and adults alike, promoting a healthy lifestyle and a positive mindset.
